The view that the self is identical with the cosmos is given up by seeing the aggregates, as well as what is seen, heard, thought, and known, as impermanent.

“Mendicants, when what exists, because of grasping what and insisting on what, does the view arise: ‘The self and the cosmos are one and the same. After death I will be that, permanent, everlasting, eternal, and imperishable’?”*This is eternalism (sassatavāda), see SN 22.81:10.7, SN 12.17:5.1.

“Kismiṁ nu kho, bhikkhave, satisatiAtención plena, memoria, poderes de referencia y retención.
