“Who is in this hut?” “A monk is in this hut, free of lust, his mind serene. Reverend, you should know this: your hut wasn’t built in vain.”

“Ko kuṭikāyaṁ bhikkhu kuṭikāyaṁ, Vītarāgo susamāhitacitto; Evaṁ jānāhi āvuso, Amoghā te kuṭikā katā”ti.

“Ko kuṭikāyaṁ bhikkhu kuṭikāyaṁ,
free of lust, his mind serene.
Vītarāgo susamāhitacitto;
Reverend, you should know this:
Evaṁ jānāhi āvuso,
your hut wasn’t built in vain.”
Amoghā te kuṭikā katā”ti.
