“Mendicants, there are these three kinds of sagacity.What three?Sagacity of body, speech, and mind.

“Tīṇimāni, bhikkhave, moneyyāni. Katamāni tīṇi? Kāyamoneyyaṁ, vacīmoneyyaṁ, manomoneyyaṁ.

“Mendicants, there are these three kinds of sagacity.
“Tīṇimāni, bhikkhave, moneyyāni.
What three?
Katamāni tīṇi?
Sagacity of body, speech, and mind.
Kāyamoneyyaṁ, vacīmoneyyaṁ, manomoneyyaṁ.

“Mendicants, there are these three kinds of sagacity.“Tīṇimāni, bhikkhave, moneyyāni. What three?Katamāni tīṇi? Sagacity of body, speech, and mind.Kāyamoneyyaṁ, vacīmoneyyaṁ, manomoneyyaṁ.

And what is sagacity of body?It’s when a mendicant doesn’t kill living creatures, steal, or have sex.This is called ‘sagacity of body’.

Katamañca, bhikkhave, kāyamoneyyaṁ? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu pāṇātipātā paṭivirato hoti, adinnādānā paṭivirato hoti, abrahmacariyā paṭivirato hoti. Idaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, kāyamoneyyaṁ.

And what is sagacity of body?
Katamañca, bhikkhave, kāyamoneyyaṁ?
It’s when a mendicant doesn’t kill living creatures, steal, or have sex.
Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu pāṇātipātā paṭivirato hoti, adinnādānā paṭivirato hoti, abrahmacariyā paṭivirato hoti.
This is called ‘sagacity of body’.
Idaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, kāyamoneyyaṁ.

And what is sagacity of speech?
