Worthy of a Monument

“Mendicants, these four are worthy of a monument. What four? A Realized One, a perfected one, a fully awakened BuddhaBuddhaEl nombre dado a quien redescubre por sí mismo el sendero liberador del Dhamma, tras un largo período de haber sido olvidado por el mundo. “Cattārome, bhikkhave, thūpārahā. Katame cattāro? Tathāgato arahaṁ sammāsambuddho thūpāraho, paccekabuddho thūpāraho, tathāgatasāvako thūpāraho, rājā cakkavattī thūpāraho—Ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro thūpārahā”ti.

A Realized One, a perfected one, a fully awakened Buddha; an Independent Buddha; a disciple of a Realized One; and a wheel-turning monarch.
