Deceivers

Mendicants who are deceivers, stubborn, flatterers, frauds, insolent, and scattered: they are no mendicants of the Buddha.

“Mendicants, those mendicants who are deceivers and flatterers, pompous and fake, insolent, and scattered: those mendicants are no followers of mine.They’ve left this teaching and training, and they don’t achieve growth, improvement, or maturity in this teaching and training.

“Ye te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū kuhā thaddhā lapā siṅgī unnaḷā asamāhitā, na me te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū māmakā. Apagatā ca te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū imasmā dhammavinayā, na ca te imasmiṁ dhammavinaye vuddhiṁ viruḷhiṁ vepullaṁ āpajjanti.

“Mendicants, those mendicants who are deceivers and flatterers, pompous and fake, insolent, and scattered: those mendicants are no followers of mine.

Ye ca kho te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū nikkuhā nillapā dhīrā atthaddhā susamāhitā, te kho me, bhikkhave, bhikkhū māmakā. Anapagatā ca te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū imasmā dhammavinayā. Te ca imasmiṁ dhammavinaye vuddhiṁ viruḷhiṁ vepullaṁ āpajjantīti.

Those who are deceivers and flatterers, <j>pompous and fake,insolent and scattered:these don’t grow in the teachingthat was taught by the perfected BuddhaBuddhaEl nombre dado a quien redescubre por sí mismo el sendero liberador del Dhamma, tras un largo período de haber sido olvidado por el mundo. Según la tradición, una larga línea de Buddhas se extiende hasta el pasado distante. El Buddha más reciente nació como Siddhattha Gotama en la India alrededor del año 500 a.e.c.
