The celestial lake Dharaṇī pours, <j>the heavenly gale blows,*Dharaṇī is an allusion to the celestial lake from which the rains come (DN 32:7.48). | Māluto is a poetic word for the “breeze”, derived from the Vedic deities the Maruts, windy gods of the thunderstorm.and lightning flashes across the sky!But my thoughts are stilled,my mind is serene.

“Dharaṇī ca siñcati vāti, Māluto vijjutā carati nabhe; Upasamanti vitakkā, Cittaṁ susamāhitaṁ mamā”ti.

But my thoughts are stilled,

Sirīvaḍḍho revato thero, sumaṅgalo sānusavhayo; Ramaṇīyavihārī ca, samiddhiujjayasañjayā; Rāmaṇeyyo ca so thero, vimalo ca raṇañjahoti.
