“A nun accomplished in ethics,her sense faculties well-restrained,would realize the peaceful state,so delectable and nutritious.”

“Bhikkhunī sīlasampannā, indriyesu susaṁvutā; Adhigacche padaṁ santaṁ, asecanakamojavaṁ”.

The BuddhaBuddhaEl nombre dado a quien redescubre por sí mismo el sendero liberador del Dhamma, tras un largo período de haber sido olvidado por el mundo. Akampiyaṁ atuliyaṁ, aputhujjanasevitaṁ; Buddho dhammamadesesi, tattha me nirato mano.

The Buddha taught me the Dhamma,
Akampiyaṁ atuliyaṁ,
unshakable, incomparable,
aputhujjanasevitaṁ;
not frequented by ordinary people;
Buddho dhammamadesesi,
my mind adores that place.

Tassāhaṁ vacanaṁ sutvā, vihariṁ sāsane ratā; Tisso vijjā anuppattā, kataṁ buddhassa sāsanaṁ.

After hearing his words,
Tassāhaṁ vacanaṁ sutvā,
I happily did his bidding.
vihariṁ sāsane ratā;
I’ve attained the three knowledges,
Tisso vijjā anuppattā,
and fulfilled the Buddha’s instructions.
